Berkshire Record Office, Reading, holds the parish registers for this area, because since time immemorial this area was in the County of Berkshire. All the Parish registers shown below have been transcribed and are availble for purchase from the Oxfordshire FHS. They are also avilable on film at the Oxfordshire Record Office. Most of the Monumental Inscriptions have also been transcribed and are also avalable from OFHS and similarly at Oxfordshire Record Office and Central Library.
